Unfortunately, like many event organisers, we are aware that impersonators sometimes try to deceive our customers by sending fraudulent emails claiming to be us and offering to sell attendee data. These are clearly scams and should be treated with caution.

While we do everything we can to track down and report these perpetrators, due to the nature of such fraud, it is often difficult to identify or stop them completely. As such, we believe the best way to protect yourself is through education and awareness.

If you receive any suspicious emails claiming to be from CloserStill Media, especially those offering to sell or share attendee data, please do not engage with them. Instead, follow these steps:

• Do not respond to the email.
• Do not click on any links or download attachments from the email.
• Block the sender to prevent further emails from reaching you.
• Report the email to us at dataprotection@closerstillmedia.com, providing details of the email you received.
• Check our website for official updates and information regarding the event.
