Ciaran is the Vice-President and Global Head of Siemens Data Centre Solutions, leading the continued development of Siemens as a technology provider to the global Data Centre industry. Prior to joining Siemens, Ciaran has held various senior Data Centre roles at notable multinational corporations. He has consulted with several Fortune 100 companies in the area of Data Centre operations, technical architecture, energy efficiency, procurement strategy and financial planning, and was a Founding Contributor to the EU Data Centre Code of Conduct and a Contributing Member of The Green Grid and the Open Data Centre Alliance. Ciaran has served as a Judge for Uptime Institute's Green Enterprise IT Awards and is a regular speaker and contributor to various industry bodies. He is also a member of the Infrastructure Masons and the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance (SDIA). Ciaran resides in Dublin, Ireland, and graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BSc. in Computer Science. He holds a postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from Henley Management College and a Diploma in Executive Leadership from IMD, Lausanne.
