Angelo Barboza is the General Manager for IT Competence Center, leading Design and Consulting for IT physical infrastructure, and Head of Business Unit IT support for ASEAN countries. An electrical engineer with over 18 years of experience in the IT and datacoms industry, Angelo initially worked as a product manager for IT solutions. He is ATD certified and possesses a profound knowledge and understanding of designing and consulting for data center infrastructure with a holistic approach to ROI, TCO, PUE, and Lifecycle design, including Rack, Power, Cooling, Security, and onsite and remote monitoring. Angelo has extensive expertise in managing small, mid, and large-scale strategic IT projects, managing stakeholders, cross-functional & complex teams, ensuring customer satisfaction. In his current role, his main responsibility lies in Data Center consulting & designing of data centers with an emphasis on Rittal’s holistic approach to data center energy efficiency and green data center solutions with a futuristic technology approach.
