Since 2011, the year we inaugurated our first plant in Changshu, LU-VE Group has made significant strides in meeting the growing demands of the Chinese market. Our evolution continued with the relocation of the plant to Tianmen, in the Hubei province, during 2018/2019. This move was supported by local government authorities to ensure our proximity to major Chinese customers.
Taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the “Belt and Road Initiative“, we have received substantial and ongoing support for our relocation. The most important local authorities financed the construction of our state-of-the-art plant and related infrastructure, making LU-VE Group the first and only foreign company in the Tianmen area.
In May 2023, we finally reached a historic agreement with the Tianmen Prefecture to further expand our production facility. This expansion includes an additional 18.000 square meters of production area and 6.640 square meters of semi-covered storage area, bringing the total area of the site to 43.640 square meters. As with our initial relocation, the costs of constructing the plant and infrastructure were funded by the local government.
We are proud to announce that our new facility is nearly completed. To celebrate this milestone, Fabio Liberali and Thomas Stiller recently met with top local authorities during a gala dinner and visited the new production site. This event underscored the strong partnership between LU-VE Group and the local government, highlighting our commitment to continuous innovation and growth.
The new wing of the facility is almost entirely finished, and production is expected to begin by the third quarter of 2024.
